Happy fall, ya'll! I don't know about you but the temps can't cool off fast enough for me. There are definitely pumpkin spice lattes and cozy sweaters in my future...let the bonfires and marshmallow roasting begin! ;)
Fall is unquestionably my favorite season and I've been giddy with excitement about putting together this inspiration post. Amber & I decided to feature a palette of dusty blue, cranberry red, and antique gold. It's the perfect combination of warmth, sophistication, and intimate elegance.
The blue and the cranberry help balance each other in a subtle pairing of delicate and bold, dark and light. The gold brings the glam factor up a few notches. This palette has always struck me as an autumn one, but it will even work well for a winter wedding!
So without further ado let's get started with this fall inspiration. Hope you love it as much as we do!
I have to be honest y'all, my fiance has picked this tux for our wedding (he's got a thing for this particular shade of blue)! In person, the color is amazing - not too dark or too light. Plus, it can be your 'something blue!'
I ADORE these earrings - I'm a sucker for the gold filigree! The dusty blue color is quietly sophisticated without being overpowering. These would be a great gift for your bridesmaids or the perfect 'something blue' accessory for you.
I love the gold furniture with the pops of blue and cranberry!
These "dinner plate" dahlias, yall! OH. EM. GEE.
The 'Kirsten' invitation suite was designed by our friends at My Lady Dye down in Alabama. We always love seeing what they have available in their store. Check them out, y'all!
I cannot BEGIN to tell y'all how much I love every color that The MRS. Box has in their shop...and they'll monogram it, too!
These cakes are so gorgeous that I'd be really sad once they got cut...and who doesn't love a macaron dusted with edible gold leaf?
Well ladies and gents, there you have it, the Pocketful of Sunshine Event Design team's idea of a fall wedding with a dusty blue, cranberry, and antique gold color palette!
So what say you, dear reader? Is dusty blue & cranberry a 'yay' or a 'nay' for you? Let us know in the comments!
